6a^2 - 5a + 1 = (3a - 1)(2a - 1)

Reason:
6a^2 - 5a + 1
= 6a^2-3a - (2a-1)
= 3a(2a-1) - (2a-1)
= (3a - 1)(2a - 1)

you are factoring the left hand side to get the right hand side...

the factors of 6a^2 - 5a +1 is...

(3a - 1)(2a - 1)

so ur ans is (2a - 1).

I just guess.
Try 2a and then multiply and see what you get.
2a times 3a is 6a^2.
2a times -1 is minus 2a.
Now you need the +1 part.
So subtract one.
-1 times -1 is 1.
So (2a -1) is maybe the
answer.
Check it out.
2a times 3a is 6a squared.
2a times -1 is -2a.
-1 times 3a is -3a.
-1 times -1 is plus 1.
Now add all this up and
you get 6a squared.
The -2a and the -3a make
minus 5a.
The plus 1 stays plus one.
Hey this is the right answer!!!
Cool, we got lucky!!
