When someone is rooming & boarding with you & pay weekly, then move out with no notice midweek, do you owe them any money for the remainder of the week they have not stayed?

Your verbal "lease" with them is week to week. They pay in advance. Without a full week's notice, no back rent refund is due. Basic law in tenancy.

No notice, no refund. And paying by the week, I would say a refund is not due either....
