Your boyfriend doesn't open up about his feelings. You think he is a jerk because he can't tell you how he feels about you and is negative about your relationship. But he gave you a place to live, didn't charge rent, and didn't complain about you getting a job. He took you out on dates, bought you flowers and stocked the fridge. Would you take a job that took you away from him? Could you/ would you leave without saying good bye?

No, if you are leaving him it is not right to leave without at least saying goodbye, especially after he has supported you financially.
I would be honest with and tell him while you appreciate all he has done for you in the past, this your needs are not being met in the relationship and this is not what you want for your life and you moving out and away to start a new life and wish him the best for the future.
You may be angry at him and want to hurt him, but if you check out all of the questions in this category about that scream "I want my ex back!" doing the above is not only the classier thing to do, but it could also leave to the door open for a relationship in the future if you have treated him with dignity and respect. If you walk out without a word, there is probably little to no chance he would ever want to take you back.

If he's just a friend it's all good. Take the job and make some money. If he's your boyfriend and you're both serious about the relationship you really need to talk with him because it affects him too. Ask him if he could tell someone on the internet that he'd never meet about how he feels. At least he'd know how to express himself and maybe be able to talk with you about it. Good luck.

nope and for what it's worth, remember they said ' actions speak louder than words '. would you rather have a man that tells you he loves you every hour and yet can't find time to take you out on dates or doesn't even bother to give you flowers?
