new years would be a good guess but i'd be willing to bet it's st. paddy's day.

These last few years the bars that my friends and i, have gone to on new years wasnt that full. A lot of people say they like to go to partys instead of the bar. And many i know stay home because of all the drunk drivers. But for some odd reason Thanksgiving Eve all the local bars were packed....So i'm going to go with Thanksgiving eve as being the biggest bar night.

I agree with the first answer. There is an Irish bar near where I work that holds a monster St Patrick's party every year. It starts at 5pm and ends?????? They have 3 bands playing continuously *one outside and two indoors* and the parking is a nightmare :)

A lot depends on location, reputation and information.
When I was a karaoke DJ, our two biggest nights were Halloween and NYE. Halloween was a costume contest, lots of Halloween songs for karaoke, and a lot more.
NYE is always big, but it depends on the crowd and all...
I'm sure Indianapolis, IN has big bar weekends for Indy 500... and Vegas is always hopping... and Florida probably has big stuff pre-hurricane. So, there's a lot of considerations...

New Years in the U.S.
The Second is the Fall Solstice because there is an extra hour before the bars stop serving.

Um....I would probably say New Year's Eve! Just about everyone goes out on that night to get plastered. Maybe following that would be the night of the superbowl.

I would guess it's either New Year's Eve or Halloween, but someone brought up St. Patrick's Day...
