Rey is injured.
He is ment to be back early next year, not sure when.
maybe e-mail WWE or rey's myspace or website for info.
There is so many rumours going around, ost of them are dreamed up by bored fans with nothing better to do.
Rey wasn't fired he is still on the smackdown page and doing promo stuff for WWE.

Rey is injured. he has been working with a streched ACL for a few months. they decided to have a storyline that Chavo "injured" him to give him an excuse to have surgery on his left leg.
Rey is scheduled to come back in March or May, however his contract expires around that time. rumor has it that Kurt Angle will try to persuade Rey to jump ship and head over to TNA. This is doubtful though as Rey has aways said he enjoys working with Chavo, Vicki and Chris and trevelling on the road with them.

Rey Mysterio is currently is on the injured list. He formerly underwent knee surgery on his knee cap. He is due to come back to the WWE wrestling in 2007.

He was long due of a knee surgery, he postponed it for his championship reing. Now he needs 5 to 6 months of knee rehabilitation. He'll be back right for wrestlemania. (As an appeareance) Then be back in action a couple of months after that.

he had surgery on his knee and if u think chavo did that to his knee your wrong that was a cover up
he possibly might go to tna cause of rvd sabu and angle could convince him since his contract is about to expire
