I have A/B positive and my husband is O positive, is there any way to find out what the blood type of our daughter is without getting a blood test?

No results in her birth record, they don't take the blood type in Canada. She is only 6 months, so I don't want to expose her to any unnessecary tests, just to satisfy my curiousity.

I think I read something to the effect that your child will more than likely her father's blood type. The only real way to know though, is a blood test.

Blood typing can in basic terms rule OUT a discern; it can't rule a discern IN. it is, if the toddler's form fits with the conceivable kinds from mom & dad, that doesn't teach the father is the toddler's genuine father. If the blood form does not tournament the conceivable kinds from mom & dad, that proves that certainly one of them isn't the toddler's genuine discern. With a form O father: If mom is AB, the toddler would be the two A or B. It won't be able to be AB or O. If mom is A, the toddler would be the two A or O. It won't be able to be AB or B. If mom is B, the toddler would be the two B or O. It won't be able to be AB or A. If mom is O, the toddler can in basic terms be form O. It won't be able to be AB, A, or B.

No, why don't you just get the blood test. It should be listed in your daughter's medical records.

If it is an adult you can say go give a pint of blood and they will tell you. Doesn't the Dr records say what her blood type is?

That information should be in your daughters records at your pediatricians office. On your next visit there, just ask them. It wouldnt hurt. They need that info in the childs records for any emergencies, or unforseen accidents... so its there in the charts. That I know for sure. Good luck!
