PocketMac 4.0 was released by BlackBerry in October. It allows you to install BlackBerry apps as well as update the BlackBerry OS using a MAC.
Go to:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Select PocketMac v4.0 for BlackBerry from the dropdown list, click [Next] and follow the directions.
The documentation (7 Meg PDF file) is available at:

I can't answer your question directly, but if you go to the Apple website, www.apple.com/discussions, and go to the discussions group for bluetooth, I am sure you should be able to find someone there that will be able to answer your question. If that is the wrong discussions group to ask, someone there should be able to point you to the right group.
