its not ebay you have to trust....its the seller....if you are going to pay via credit only do it through a trusted site like paypal or paymate.....DO NOT GIVE THE SELLER YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS.....if anything dodgey happens ebay will not help if you do this....but if you use a trusted source then you can have the matter investigated....
i have been using ebay for 2 years with some 800+ transactions and i have been lucky enough to only be stitched up once....
ebay is great but you need to be cautious

Yes of course! Ive used ebay many many times, like over 100 times and I have never been let down... How ever I do not trust the people on the other side to be nice.. They can be very very rude, yet thank god Ebay has an amazing system so you can't be let down.

So go ahead and use your Visa, like the millions of people around the world are.. And if anything goes wrong, i guess u can blame me! hahhaaa

Use a paypal account and if you run into any issues, report it immediately. Some of the items you purchase can be issues. Some people misrepresent, but you can trust most people. Just watch for the descriptions. Remember, you get what you pay for...

yes. i've done several thousands of dollars in business on ebay and had only one problem. i got an email to buy something (that i was outbid on at the last second) out of auction for the last price i bid. i did that and lost $245.00. DO NOT buy out of auction!!!! you will not be covered by the numerous protections ebay has in place to safeguard your transaction.

paying and everything is okay... make sure you research the person selling the stuff. click on their name, and it will tell you how people feel about their service with them. this is good too, because you can see how many people are satisfied with what they recieve. i got screwed with ebay before because i didnt pay attention to what the sellers feedbacks were.
good luck.

Best thing to do for eBay is to sign up for a paypal account - it's the safest and easiest way to go.
