i think people in other countries that take our jobs from us are innovative. dynamic refers to movement, moving. i do not see our country as one that moves far from standard liberal and conservative rhetoric. also i do not see how we could be considered such a forward nation when we spend money on foolish things like exploring space instead of paying attention to exploring our own planet to find cures for diseases, nor do i find it forward thinking to continue to incinerate culture-dished embryos that people do not want or need instead of using their stem cells to help people with so many illnesses (i.e., if they are going to be destroyed anyway, why not)? prosperous? the people that clammor to get into the usa believe the streets are paved in gold. in the early 1900s, it was easy for immigrants to make a living and better their lot through their hard work and wise investments. i see a huge gap between the upper classes and those down at the bottom instead of the middle class ever getting able to advance itself. instead, those taxpayers are getting pink slips due to layoffs and cutbacks. what we fail to realize when we think only of the bottom line, the high numbers of dollars shown on reports that raise the price of stocks, is that they were attained by cutting good workers from the labor force of that company. what happens then is that when the product is made sloppily and without care, no one wants to buy it anymore, so the bottom line can often lean to the bankruptcy line. who wants to fight freedom? do you want to see our country become communist or totalianaristic? we should always fight FOR freedom. however, maybe we should stop sending our men to foreign countries to fight for others' freedom when maybe others do not want us as a force in their countries.
every 10 years when the census is taken, we still encounter many families that have no running water or indoor plumbing of any nature, meaning that they use the pump on the well and the outhouse. how about putting some of our wealth into improving their lot in life? they are, afterall, americans, are they not? did they ever pay taxes? yes, they did. are they living on a grand scale? no, they are not: many of their children are undernourished and their families are wrought with problems of wife beating, alcoholism, drug abuse, and child abuse.
i think it is preposterous to pretend that we are the greatest nation on the face of the earth when we do not take care of our own people first and foremost.
why did you ask this question anyhow?

I think that eventually, America will be like the Brits, a nation and Great Power that has seen its day and that has declined. The British Empire stayed in power for several hundred years, and they thought that it would last forever. It's something worth thinking about.
