Does anyone know any good scary movies. I also like the real old ones, but the newer ones are cool too.

Ever watch the original Dracula? Not Nosferatu, though that one's freaky too. The one with Bela Lugosi. That one's creepy, especially Renfield, he's a fantastic crazy guy!

If you like good psychological horror, I would argue for "The Shining." I don't like movies with gore and blood, because I've been in a job where I've seen enough blood, gore, and dead people in real life. After you've had that, movies that rely on gore to shock people are frankly just boring and annoying. Recently I saw "The Descent," which I thought was good (admittedly, it was gory in the last half, but it also was psychological). I also like the original Alien movie. For witty, humorous, horror, "Shaun of the Dead" can't be beaten; it's the best modern zombie movie made. In a similar vein, there's a Canadian movie called "Ginger Snaps" which is one of the best modern takes on the werewold legend that I've seen. It's hard to find anything new and original in the horror movie genre; these are a few that stand out for me.

Oh, gosh, i love scary movies. Saw I & II, Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Ring, Psycho is okay, 13 Ghosts. The first 4 are my all time faves! Have fun
