Considering he ordered the deaths of 148 Shi'ite villagers in the town of Dujail in 1982... Yes. Not even to mention the countless other things hes done that he was not accused of in court on the 26th. (follow the second link below to see a semi-complete list). He's seems to be hated by the country he formerly ran, and that in itself says a whole lost about his character... vile, cruel, and detrimental to society as a whole. All in all, I think he deserves an excruciatingly painful death.

The Iraqi court that sentenced him thinks that Sadam deserves to die by hanging. There are other courts in Iraq that would like to pass their sentence, on Sadam, do you think that he should be sentenced more then once? or 17 times? or should he get Life Imprisonment for the Mass murder he committed

I think he will die for his crimes not once, but as many times as he had victims. We may only get to hear about the one death...but the soul is eternal and karma is real. As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

He deserved the sentence for the bad thing he did. During his regime in power he done many evel things to his people. Even when US captured him, torn down his statue and demolish his house, many of his own people chanted happily over that. This is a proven fact that no one likes him.

think about this in all fairness, sadam imposed his will on a nation, against what the people wanted, told them how to live and what he wanted and forced them to comply, now with bush he is imposing his will on a nation against her peoples will and is telling them how to live and forcing them to comply, in iraq and here as well, so how is he any different? and who am i to decide if he deserves it, it seems that with bush its do as i say not as i do, otherwise he would volunteer to accept the same punishment, but i dont see that happening do you??

He deserves to hang, but I would rather see him put into one of his own prisons and torchered for years like he ordered for so many others first.
