There's nothing wrong with asking for a little help, when you need it we all get in a bind sometimes. When reading a question, pertaining to someone's homework, you have to ask yourself if you think the person is cheating or taking advantage of the situation, then you decide rather or not, you want to answer the question and how much information you should give them. We all have a choice on what questions we want to answer, nobody is forced to answer.

Well, I have never done that but it really is hard being at school now! You have homework from every class and sometimes you are overwhelmed and just want a small break. I"m not saying that people should never do their homework but when your stressed I'm sure it is helpful to get an answer. Also, teachers expect you to go home and re-learn what you did in class. If you don't understand it and your other resources can't answer it, it is really helpful. However, I also think that the answers won't always be right. Cheating- as long as it's work that's not graded.

I think if they're doing their homework here they are cheating. There is actually a "homework" category. Yahoo really has to make this an over 18 site.

I don't think they get an advantage as Wikipedia and Yahoo are not legitimate sources of knowledge; I'm wondering where Mom and/or Dad are when it's homework time if their kids are on yahoo instead?

i think answers is great, and should be used as a resource. many, however, look to answers as a means of getting someone else to do their homework (you people know who I am talking to; make a decision- get with the program, or get out of school and clear some space for the people who want to learn as well as for those who love to teach).

It's not fair! When I was in school I used to actually have to do my homework, I couldn't just go on-line and plagiarize strangers on a forum! I actually had to ask the dork at lunch break to give me HIS answers or threaten to steal his lunch money and beat him up!

Why couldn't I have been born a couple years later!?

I feel like they should do it themselves, I mean what's the point of the teacher sending them homework if they are not gonna do it and not learn about it, they have to search information, not wait for the answers.

besides the fact on how easy they have it today with computers, open book tests, use of calculators.....its amazing to realize how lazy they still are when it comes to figuring out an answer.

instead of being like the other billions online and just using google to find their answer, they must resort to posting it on a answer forum to do nothing more then to be fed the answer while their lazy butt does not one item of work.

and they say america isn't lazy.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

well i know there are a lot of people who have a hard time with their homework and they don't have anyone that will help them. some peoples' parents are too ignorant to help their children so this site helps those who can't get help.
