someone calls you a name? i mean i dont care what people call me but this girl keeps calling me retarded and my hearts beating kind of fast. Why???

Adrenaline, its because of what doctors call the flight of fight scenario, its ur mind and body's reaction to stress, and adrenaline is released to help with the problem which in turns speeds up ur heart.

I guess its because u care about her and dont want her to say anything dissaproving about you.Unconsciously you want her to accept you.Do YOU think that you'r retarted or slow..i dont think so cause had that been the case ur reaction wouldve been very different.The best thing to do in such a situation would be to tell her outright that she makes your heart go racing whenever she COMPLIMENTS you in the way that you described,if anything you will definitely discover the nature of her feelings toward you.

You're sensitive and your heart beats fast because her name calling bothers you or hurts you ... yet you don't want to admit that so your heart is telling you, in a very real sense.

same thing happens to me. i dont really know why but maybe you get upset and your trying to keep it in and it builds up. you get energetic and wanna do something or say something to her but you keep it all in so your heart is beating so fast. i get upset like that and i think thats why my heart is doing that. i dont really wanna start a fight so i dont say anything to people who call me names

well usually it means shes trying to be your friend and she likes you.
odd. usually guys do that for girls. Just keep looking. you may find you like her to.... Either that or your just wierd and getting mad.
