my mom is going to open a kay jewelers account today and i wanted to know if you can use it that same day. yes she has credit and when she opened her macys and dillards account she was able to purchase that same day so does that go the same for kay jewelers?

Yes. When I opened one, I did it for a free gift and didn't actually use it. About two weeks later I received a bill for a $500 bracelet that I never bought. Turns out they entered the wrong social security number for some other guy and charged it to me somehow. I closed my account without ever using it and I did not pay for his wife's jewelry.
