Go to a jewelry store and get measured. You have to know if you need the "wide measure" or the "narrow measure". If the ring is a wide ring, you need to be measured with the wide measures.

put a paper around the finger you are buying the ring for and cut the paper where it fits. In catalogues they always have a ring chart just measure it against one of these and it will tell you what ring size you are.
