I have been ttc for 5 months. I am charting using basal body temp and cervical mucus. This month, it seemed as if I ovulated on day 14 by egg white cm and high temps for 3 days. Temp then dropped dramatically (2 degrees!) and then rose again paired w/ ewcm on day 24. I'm reading on line that it is possible to O twice in one month but not 10 days apart. Maybe it was something else hormonal and I shoudl scratch this month. If not pg this month, I will be investing in ovulation predictor tests! Thanks for any help.

Why does everyone say to relax and stop trying? Like anyone can really do that when they are ttc???
Anything is possible. I was on Clomid, ovulated twice in one month, 2 days apart (as told by doctor with my temp chart) and gave birth to twins. I don't think you can 10 days apart, but I am not a doctor (just someone who has been through it all). Don't give up hope. Your body could have spiked a slight temp because of implantation (because we all should know that most of the time a woman's body views the new developing baby as a foriegn body).
Honestly, anything is possible.

You may be pregnant. Your temp ishigh when you ovulate and it's high when you are pregnant. The ovulation predictor kit that you use with urine not only predicts ovulation but also pregnancy. It's amazing how your body makes the same signs for different diagnosis

no longer 6 days aside, no. this is accessible to launch 2 eggs, yet that occurs interior of 24 hours of another. as quickly as the egg(s) are released, progesterone alerts LH and LH alerts all different maturing follicles to die off. in some situations a 2d (or greater) eggs can launch before this occurs. this is, even nonetheless, accessible to get an LH surge (picked up on the OPK) and to no longer ovulate and then to get a 2d surge later in an analogous month and unquestionably ovulate that 2d time.

The build up of mucus could stop because of stress and continue later, even 10 days later. This doesn't mean you ovulate twice, your body just stopped for whatever reason. No need to stop trying.

You may or may not be pregnant this month, you may or may not have ovulated twice, but why are you driving yourself nuts? Just have sex often and it will happen.
