Why what happened in 1766?Was that when those whining colonists did'nt appreciate that we populated the joint.Had it not been for britain,the only people there wre redskins. The place would never have been heard of.Never ever thought this date was a day of commiseration.In fact my only wish is that these puritans had went somewhere else.Then the french could have took the whole lot.Your greatest ally ever was France,you deserve each other

You must mean 1666. Well in 1666 there was a big fire that destroyed half of London and even though there has been tons of construction since then people remember it through oral tradition and history lessons. It's part of their history.
