Yes and i have been on the other end like I am being forced into a conversation. Dont like it either. Must be cause i dont like whom i am talking to and just trying to get rid of them in a polite way.

with some people I feel that way, and we have to talk because the silence is uncomfortable, with others I feel like the conversation is great, time goes by really fast.
PS: I hate forced conversations, unluckily I have many.

I used too when I was younger but then I realized that is an issue with self esteem and if I look deeper into myself then I don't feel the need to justify their conversation I would realize that if they really didn't want to talk to me then I don't really need them too and if they are too false to tell me the truth then I really don't have to act any different for them.

I don't know about others.
That is usually how I feel when I am talking to people.

Rarely, and when that happens I just hurry the important points and end the "conversation".
