At least when it comes to the matters of the heart one shouldn't be maipulative. Why do some people think its clever to be manipulative then be honest?

Love can manipulate somebody, whether it is intentional or not. These people who are unloved have never been manipulated by love and hence don't know how this manipulation feels. Therefore, they have no conscience when it comes to manipulating people.

It only bothers you IF you choose to let it!! Thus, if you are manipulated by love then you are choosing to be.
I agree that those that are loved usually are not manipulators. A lovable person can be loved in many ways. They are lovable thus need not persuade others into showing affection or creating affection.

Love, or being in love, is a kind of madness. You don't have much control over your actions and acting rationally because you are so intent on achieving what you desire.
