Not very often, but that song "Walking on the Sun" by Smashmouth was SO familiar the first time I heard it I was sure it was a cover of some old 60's song - but it's not.
It still has some kind of association of that time with me, but it is false, since it wasn't around then.

No, it doesn't mean that at all.
Sometimes our brains take a teeny lapse in recording. One incident gets recorded as two incidents, ergo that odd feeling of "been there before".
And it's call "deja vu". It's french for "already seen".

Yes. Sometimes I think we have lived it in a dream and then it becomes reality. Weird.
