It can take anywhere's from 4 months to a year to get pregnant. I was on the depo shot for 3 years and it took me a year to get pregnant (well 11 months)
Take a pregnancy test. No kind of birth control will affect a pregnancy test results.

If you think you are pregnant get a pregnancy test!

It may take a long time. You may have to go to a fertility specialist.

Information is now coming to light about depo provera. Some have had to go to a fertility doc to get pregnant, some get pregnant right after they get off the shot. After five years of being on depo you need a bone density check.

Read some of the depo reviews from other women.

I got pregnant during the third month of the depo shot. So be careful listening to some of these other answers. The best thing to do it to be tested. The best pregnancy tests are done by doctors and are kept confidential if you don't want people to know either. Also most areas have plannedparenthood who will tes you for free.

I agree with baremusicfoot...I was on the shot for just 3 months...and it took me a year to get my first cycle back. I have been trying to conceive for 3 years. It has been hard. So I would think twice about being on the deprovera shot

Chances are that you aren't and won't be for years. The average for conceiving is 1 1/2 and if you were on depo, it could be years. But it is basically up to the creator anyways.

odds are that you aren't. The depo-provera injections are good for 3 months. If you just got off of it, it will be a while before your cycle returns to what it should be (and it will likely be more regular when it does) and a while before you can get pregnant. good Luck... Above all else, if you are concerned, consult your OB/GYN. She'll have better answers than you can get off of yahoo! answers.
