Jim Jones is ok, I guess but Jay Z is the better rapper. Jay Z doesn't even need to write down his rhymes he just goes in the studio and does his thing. Look at ALL his songs compared to the little bit of songs Jim Jones made. I never even heard Jim Jones rap before he made ballin and if you really listen to it, its not all that. The only thing that got people hooked to that song is the chorus.
I know this don't matter but I hate the way Jim Jones looks sometimes; with those tight a$$ t- shirts and he looks like he doesn't take showers everyday and he looks like he takes drugs, probably heroin or coke.

Jay, of course! His flows are much tighter than Jim Jones. And look at the career that Jay has had. Jim's 'career' can't touch that. Jay comes out of retirement and hits platinum.
