We drained the water heater and put in new element and I have hot water & pressure everywhere but the kitchen sink. Does anyone have any clue as to why??

You might have broke some build up in you pipes lose when you shut the water off to change the element.
Does water come out of the tap when you turn just the hot on?If you do not have water coming out when just the hot is turned on you might want to thump on the pipe to see if you can break the blockage lose.

It's possibly because,when you chained your element you disturbed the calcium build up in your heater and is sitting under your kitchen tap faucet.You may have to unscrew the hot water faucet and run some water through to clear the calcium.

Is it a lever faucet in the kitchen? Do you get any water out of the kitchen hot water faucet?
