They are derivative and boring. They sing everyone else's songs (badly) and don't even look all that rock n' roll to me.
What do you think? Should we take a pair of scissors to them?

The Scissor Sisters are an American band who formed in 2001, whose style draws from disco, glam-rock/pop and the gay-club scene of New York City. The group were named after a sex position between two women (tribadism), and their initial full name was 'Dead Lesbian and the Fibrillating Scissor Sisters'.
Rock isn't dead it's just mutated into various forms.

I'm a Malaysian working and living in London and I love Scissor Sisters ! They are massive over here. Must say that I didn't think much of them to begin with but as you keep hearing their tunes at bars/clubs, getting air time on the radio, their stuff does grow on you. Even saw them at a gig at Trafalgar Square this summer. I love their second album - Ta Dah, but as I mentioned before, it takes alot of air time at various establishments before you start tapping your feet to their tunes. Each to their own, I guess.

please take a pair of scissors to them i hate them!!! its like they dont even try to make the music. they are pathetic. aarrggghhh
they are not rock and roll, i dont even think there is a genre for that type of music.
