Hey... I'd love to help, but can you provide a little more info? Do you mean that when you floor it, you only get 2500 RPMs out of it? If that's the case, start simple, then move out to the more advanced.
check the fuel filters. There may or may not be 2 on that model. A silver one near the tank, and one closer to the engine. It may be near the driver's door. If neither of those solve the issue, and you're absolutely sure that you have not crimped a wire when putting the tank back in, then you may have a lot of trash in your tank. You can get that cleaned pretty reasonably... but you'll know it's junk because the car will run better either idling in your yard, or while moving... not both. If that's not the case, and the wires (as above mentioned) are not crimped and therefore causing intermittent grounding, then you may have bought the wrong pump. A low flow pump that is not for high performance cars like GPs. That one is a long shot, but I've seen AutoZone, etc. screw up before.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all the hoses near the intake manifold.

Check your vaccum lines, and than go check your sensors.Did you replace your fuel filter? There are many different problems it could be. Go get a diagnostics scan done, and than give me the code and i'll tell you what it means, and how to fix it. Ted4887@hotmail.com
