Go to www.stupidcheapcomputers.net and check out their stuff. They have all kinds of stuff from regular desktops for about $400 to gaming systems for less than $1,000 plus laptops and tablets.

If you are in the military, send them and email from your military email account and they will give you a 10% discount.

I have bought 5 systems from them (so far) and I have always been extrememly satisfied with their products. I don't even bother building my own systems anymore b/c they can sell one to me for less than it would cost me to piece it together myself.

Find something with 40-80 Gig harddrive, 1 meg of ram. Depending on the games your lil bro plays, you may have to get a graphics card because the integrated graphics cards sometimes render the games slowly.

just get them a Pentium 4 or a AMD 3700+ with a good 256MB graphics card and a decent size hard drive 100 to 200 gig and about 1 gig of ram that shouldn't cost much at all and will be good enough for games and anything your parents do

I would suggest maybe a basic Dell system with an upgrade on the video card. Less than $500 if I remember right.

Get a Dell or an Hp. Descent Dells start at around $350 (everything included). Hp's are all little better but the Price starts higher. I use an HP Pavillion for my gaming and it's very efficient it has 960MB of RAM ( the preferred amount of RAM for gamers is at least 600MB of RAM).
Hp Pavillions start at around $600 and are good for gaming and home use.

I'd go to Walmart (store or online) and look at the entry level e-machines... They're good about bundling a printer or upgrading to a LCD for free.
