That is going to be an interesting law suit.

He referred to her as my wife in public and on a video I saw this morning. The courts used to call this evidence in court as evidence of a common law wife.

They had an unrecorded public wedding.

They have a child together.

I would think the courts would consider her his wife and widow.

I am not sure why they did it. But when I first read about it I was shocked. How could you just loose your husband and then get locked out of the house??? Seems like too much... poor lady and child. I am sure there is more to it though.

no the lawyer said the estate belonged to James Brown's children well that 5 year old is one of his children they should be allowed to stay until they read the will.
