Don't let cost affect your college decision. You can start saving now, and there are tons of scholarships, loans, and grants out there. If you really want to go to an expensive college, there's a way to do it.

I got accepted to the college of my dreams, but there's no way we could even pay half of the cost to go there. I have one scholarship from them, Im working on more, and possibly a full scholarship. If those dont work out, there are plenty of grants and a good loan I can get. Just keep looking for a college you love, the rest will come.

Juliard is the hardest college to get into the US, hands down. Harder than Harvard or Yale or CalTech. You have to have some serious talent to get in, and to be frank, you're a little young to know that yet. My voice didn't develop fully until I was already in college, even though I had been singing since I was 6. You can look into Oberlin College as well, and Ithaca College - both have well-known music programs - but you might want a fall-back plan. Banking on math or science skills is one thing, but who knows what your voice will be like in 5 years.

You also might want to look into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
