Abraham Lincoln became a Republican. in any case, i could could say Ronald Reagan is thru some distance the terrific. And all and assorted who thinks FDR became the terrific president who ever lived is dumb, because of the fact he basically served for 2 years. How could you're saying somebody is the terrific president in the event that they basically served in workplace for 2 years?

However, that's a question of perspective because the top 3 were all amazing presidents and it's very hard to put them in order. FDR, Lincoln and Washington. those are the top 3.

Lincoln was the perfect man for the job at the time.

Certainly great, but America would never have come to existence, as that which requires the divorcing of itself from the British Crown, in the first place without the formidable leadership and undying support inherent to George Washington. Without Washington, there is nothing to say we would have accumulated the solidarity so necessary to winning our independence.

The government doesn't own everything in China.China has thousand upon thousands of private companies and private businesses including U.S. companies producing stuff there. So that's is why they are succeeding. taxes lower in China than in U.S. they are smarter. In USSR the government owned everything and managed everything which is why they failed. Ditto for Cuba, N.Korea, East germany that allowed no private businesses. private ownership and competition is the key to success. The government schools in the U.S. don't compete against each other. so you can't weed out the bad schools. Anyone who goes into a computer store like Comp USA, Best buy etc. can see private ownership (capitalism) works and government management doesn't. Democrats want government to own & manage healthcare too. democrats have to be stopped , that is if you don't want to be extremely poor and a slave.

The BEST president ever was Ronald Reagan. He appeased everyone in our country, unlike Lincoln. On the contrary, I think Lincoln was best cutout for the job more than anyone else of his time. Plus, he was a good Christian man of God.

Government is the problem." no truer statement has ever been said yet Democrats think the opposite of this and so democrats have to be stopped before they lead us on the road to economic ruin and oppression like happened in the old USSR. where has gov worked? the war on drugs ?, the war on poverty?, FEMA?, in running USSR, running economy of Cuba? Nope. even government schools are failing and we are paying trillions for nothing but grief.

No. He just about killed the bill of rights. Jailed those that disagreed with him. He was also a racist that only used slavery to keep that awful war going. Do you know he had aplan to repatriate over 97% of all freed slaves to africa. Just take em on a boat, and send them on their way at the coast.

In response, the USSR failed because the government spent all of its money on it's arms build up, which is comparable to the Bush administration. The USSR didn't fail because it was all government, as I recall, China is a communist country or as close as one can be to a communist country and they're still around and doing fine, but they don't have the weapons that the USSR did
