If you remix it purely to make a profit then you will probably make it too 'middle of the road' and it'll come out flat, you've got to remember that if and when you send it to record companies and DJ's they'll have heard hundreds of tracks designed to make a profit by using samples of previously popular records, and if you've done the same thing they'll smell a rat and chuck the tune in the bin.
If you make the track YOU want to hear, you might grab peoples interest.
Good luck with the tune!

If there is anything more irritating with thelatest current batches of remixed records, is the ones where they repeat the bloody chorus in a loop over and over again !!!!! Just hear PATT, and Eric Prydz and all the other crap. Frankly Billie Jean is a classic, and if its going to be remixed it must definately have the whole tune, and the remix be minimalist. Keep the song intact. Thats what I say.

Billie Jean was already remixed, I have the cd. It is an extended 12" single that is pretty good. I'm not sure if I would buy another one, though.

it all depends on how good it is. Get it out on clubs and radio if you can first but don´t be suprised if you get nowhere. There must be 1000+ remixes of this song all ready out there.
So you´re gonna have to put a lot of work promoting it yourself, don´t expect anyone else to do it for you.

specific, he grew to become into. Michael reported, it have been given to the ingredient, the place human beings began to suppress his sales, here in usa. human beings think of his albums weren't merchandising because of the fact his music grew to become into turning out to be stale. yet, the albums that did no longer sell as much as secret, have been nicely over offered than any prevalent artist sales. It grew to become into basically sales, that persons did no longer assume from him, considering that he made one hundred million off of secret. -Tshirts -Dolls -Costumes -souvenirs -Dvd's -concert events -video games -books -action picture soundtracks -Albums -Beatles, Elvis, Eminem Catalogs, owned via him -Signings -movies(The Wiz, Captain Eo) -Copyrights and his stuff performing on different peoples stuff EDIT: The Beatles weren't earning funds like Michael Jackson. They have been earning funds from traveling and albums, no longer endorsement bargains and advertising.

It was only good the first time around, since those days he's gone from a cute looking black man to a wierd looking white woman. Too much stuff has happened for him to come back. I have to say that his music was genius though, I love it.
