Put yourself in the hands of God! I never did when my friends told me then I gave in and guess what, never regretted it.
Get a miraculous medal from a catholic church, the Blessed Lady will answer your prayers.

I think you make your own luck. Charms just help you feel more confident in thinking about your situation (thus making you more proactive about your situation, thus in a roundabout way actually working!). Regarding the making of charms, a general good luck one could be to make a tiny pouch out of gold coloured fabric, and fill it with (if you need money luck) a penny, and various herbs or spices depending upon what you want to achieve (lots of websites will have ideas). Make it look all pretty. Then (the most important bit) i would reccommend thinking about solutions to the problem that you can take (charms can only go so far). Carry the charm with you for encouragement.

I am not sure what you need the good luck for, and that would color my answer considerably. In general, something that makes you feel secure and confident is a good luck charm. It could be a specific piece of jewelry, a stone (preferably a crystal), any kind of talisman, really. I also know that lavender (the plant) brings good luck. Perhaps you have a greenhouse near you? Buy the plant and (this is important) replant it immediately upon arriving home. You must plant the lavender to reap the luck. If you are in need of any other information, please e-mail me. Good luck.

The best good luck charm is power of the mind - THINK lucky and you'll BE lucky - you could pick up ANYTHING, a mug, a pair of underpants, a key etc, say those /that is your lucky charm. things only work if you BELIEVE they'll work. Positive thinking - i say sometimes, 'come on lucky pen (never used it before) help me win the lottery - i won a tenner- not much, but at least i won - i was nine quid up! Think of your glass as half full, not half empty and your half way there, and not that you'll need it but, all the luck in the world mate!!!

Citrine quartz crystal is a cheerful little good-luck and abundance bringer from the world of minerals.

But it all depends on what kind of good luck you actually need... For example, I would light a white candle and humbly ask Archangel Michael to make his presence felt in my life if I thought I needed protecting... Green candle and Archangel Raphael if I or someone I loved and/or cared about needed healing, and so on.

Or simply take a little time out, and think about the situation you are in. Meditate on it for a while, then hand it over to The Powers that are greater than yourself, see what happens... because the thing is that - more often than not - we find ourselves wanting things that we don't actually NEED...:)

When on holiday in Greece i stood on a sharp stone in the water-
unlucky you may think- when i picked it out my friends and i saw it was heart shaped with a hole as if it had been a pendant.

I brought it home with me ......my lucky heart
used to give it a rub before going off to work etc- got back with my ex after 5 years apart much to the annoyance of my then boyfriend, but i was sooooooooo loved by everyone must be my lucky charm

While watching a documentary the likes of csi - bone that had been exposed to water for long periods of time had the same mottled effect as my heart
The more i look at it the more i see a knuckle joint worn away by the sea
lovely just thought id cheer u up with that

You should do a house cleansing using white candles, sea salt and white sage stick. Go through everyroom in your house and say a prayer to bring in the good energy and let out the negativity. Sprinkle holy water in all the corners of each room in your house or apartment. Sprinkle the sea salt also in the corners. leave a door or window open while you are doing this in order to release all the negative energy. Good luck - really does work! HAVE FAITH!

If you want luck what do you believe in. As to the charm anything can be a charm. If you let me know the specifics of your beliefs, I might be able to help you make a charm.

When you get up look in the mirror and say "today is my lucky day" 3 times. I did it and met my husband of 18 years. For longer term luck write a note to the universe stating your hopes and dreams and keep it somewhere safe, it will not help immediately but keep faith.

It truly depends on your faith. I'd suggest different elder coins no longer in circulation (usually about 3 for a dollar or so at a local asian store), sprigs of holly, or even burning incense. Also, the person who suggested jade wasn't that far off. Jade is usually quite cheap and I don't think the coloring would really matter.

Though, for some reason holly sprigs really seem to be filling my mind while writing this. Maybe try that.
