YES! Babies can digest breast milk much better than formula. Plus, you dont have to worry about food allergies, constipation from Iron in the formula, it prevents ear infections in the infant, proven to decrease colic in the baby. Also, it aids in weight loss for the mother. You burn so many calories breastfeeding. But, you do need to watch what you are eating and drinking while breast feeding. Avoid alcohol and medications, because whatever the mother eats and drinks it is passed on to the baby! Also, some foods like broccolli, culiflower, and spicy foods give the baby gas and indigestion (making a crabby baby!).

There are three things newborns need most: Food, love from the mother, and warmth. All three you can get easily and quickly from the breast!! It's such a wonderful experience for both you and baby!! There's anitbodies, and proper protien/fat for baby, natural DHA and ARA (not produced elsewhere and then added), and lack of that that crap they fill formula up with just to make it like our milk!! It's all natural. Oh and let's not forget that breastfeeding reduces the mother's chances of breast and ovarian cancer. Along with keeping baby in good health, it also helps mom fight everyday bateria and viruses (not always guaranteed though). Yeah it's a little extra effort on your part put out, but so worth it when baby crawls all over you just to suckle for a second and then crawls off!!! Which reminds me of the endorphins your body releases when your baby nurses, which in bad moments help you calm down and be at ease (sometimes happy) with life as it is, even if it really sucks at that moment for whatever reason! If you are really considering breastfeeding, read a lot!!

Yes , it is healthier for BOTH of you ; it helps take the pregnancy weight off of you; I was told breast-feeding is like running a marathon------- the calories it burns off is amazing!!!!you are so close together when feeding it is a bonding time like no other, I have 3 children and only 2 were breast-fed; now I wish I would of been able to feed all; but at the time it just wasn't possible.

yes, breast feeding is way healthier than formula to the baby!! if you able to breast feed then dont use the formula! the baby would grow healthier and stronger as mothers breast milk contains much vitims and protiens but it depends on the mother well if you're not healthy enough then you would need to get some more protien and you have to stop certien things like caffaneen etc. but if thats alot to work you can use the formula

Women all over the world have been doing it from the beginning of time. Yes, it's best to breast feed your baby because there are nutrients in the milk that scientists have not been able to duplicate despite advancements in medicine. Also, your child will bond with you when you breast feed him/her. Your uterus will contract faster after childbirth. The other plus? You may also quickly lose pregnancy weight by breast feeding your baby. It's a win/win situation.

There is no question that breastmilk is better for your baby than formula. There are just some things that can't be artificially mimicked. If you are able to breastfeed, do it.
However, don't feel guilty if you can't breastfeed. Some women physically or mentally can't, and that's okay. In that situation, it's better that the baby has formula than nothing at all because mum is unable to feed properly.
If you do end up bottle feeding, though, don't use fluoridated water to mix the formula with. The ADA has (finally!) issued an advisory against it:

YES! Think about it... Breastmilk is natural, therefore it's exactly what the baby needs. And it automatically adjusts as the child gets older. Formula on the other hand is man-made in a factory. Which do you seriously think would be healthier?

Breast milk is the better of the two if you are eating right and taking care of yourself. Bottle feeding is close to breast milk yes, but it is not as good as breast milk. Antibodies, vitamins and the physical changes that are helped along by breast milk cannot be reproduced by bottle milk. Obviously if you have a major issue with your body such as a disease or physical ailment to do with your breasts then ofcourse it is fine to use bottled milk. Your children will grow up to be healthy regardless, but the health benefits increase with breast milk, that is fact... And NO, BREASTFEEDING IS NOT FOR COWS....

Absolutely yes! It is the perfect food for a baby, plus it coats the inside of their belly so they are less likely to be colicky. It decreases risks of ear infections, diabetes, obesity, some cancers, etc... Plus it is like a natural laxative so they are less likely to get constipated. You have to really want to breastfeed to stick with it because it is a huge commitment and there are some situations were you can't and that is OK and that is your decision.
