I am in my first trimester and have had a history of M/Cs. My doctor is out of town and I was wondering if anyone has asked their doctor if having an orgasm is ok if you're having a normal pregnancy so far in the first trimenster. thanks

not only is it o.k. but my dear it is healthy to have sex during pregnancy because it keeps the muscles flexed and that helps during the whole birthing experience, the thought of another miscarriage is ,I am sure; in the back of your mind. Set it free, nature takes what is not right , there must of been problems that you may never know existed. and be blessed with the fact that you both need the togetherness that comes from sharing your bodies. If you're at risk of miscarrying I would wait and talk to the doctor about it. I would like to think it would be ok but since you have a history it may contribute to a MC. Sex during a normal pregnancy is completely fine however!

I would do what feels right to you. If you don't feel right about having sex until after you have spoken to your doctor, then don't have sex. If you would rather have sex, then have sex. Its your body and your life. (I seriously doubt that having sex will hurt the child).

my doctor said it was ok to have sex while I was pregnant so an orgasim is just fine.
