The only dangerous thing in the UAE is may be driving a car without beeing used to the traffic here. Otherwise - it is a very safe country. Crime rate is very, very low and terror don't exist over here.
You never heard about UAE having any terror links. They only thing happened in the past, some Terrorists used UAE bank accounts to transfer money. But that was done in many other western countries, too.
The UAE, especialy Dubai and Abu Dhabi are very open to Westerners.

It is very safe. I have been to Dubai couple of times. People are very respectful. The crime ratio is very low. I never had any problem. I travel a lot and been to many countries. I can tell you that Dubai is the safest I have ever been.

It all depends on what you mean by dangerous. If you mean is it full of terrorists , then I would have to ask what you mean by terrorists.
If you mean are you likely to get gunned down or robbed there, I would answer , very unlikely. So perhaps you could make the question clearer and the answer would be what you need to know.

UAE is a friendly country. I was there about 10 yrs ago and it is a very beautiful country. Everyone there is really nice.

its the safest country on earth, I lived here for 12 years have seen one street fight (very quickly settled), heard of no more than five theft cases,,, no killing at all, one time shooting in the air.. but lots of car accidents.

I don't believe it is. My wife and I were looking into going to Dubai and read alot about it. Its expensive because its a tourist destination but somewhat westernized.
