ombudsman and they checked out my complaints and they called me back and said they could not find anything. That girl is still working and is probably doing it to someone else because she can get away with it. I think they are all apart of it. I just can't prove it. I have called many differnet type of telephone numbers and nobody will do anything about it You don't even get a glass of water at your table. Only what you get at mealtime.

If it is legal in your state, you should set up a hidden camera to "catch them in the act". If you have it on film then they will have to do something about it

I totally agree with Ryan's mom, but listening to Big Daddy can get you arrested. You are parbally forbidden from having cameras in the "nursing" home. Maybe you can get your local news to report on the matter. Sometimes reporters take cameras in places reguardless of weather or not they are allowed. Then you will also put more pressure on the "nursing" home to do something about it. Good luck!

Instead of easy indignation about a little slap that probably hurted nobody you should try to imagine what it is to work 8 hours a day with old people in nursing homes !! they are worse than children and sometimes very rude and agressive. so a nice little slap puts back everybody in good humor and this it it.. Stop erecting statues to your sense of dignity and humanity. you are being ridiculous and out of proportion...

Good for you for doing something about it!

I would file a police report and contact the state.

Contact your state Attorney General's Office and file a complaint. You need to tell them who did it and who they hit. They might need to interview the resident if they are able to communitcate.

there are some private investigators who specialize in nursing home problems - naturally experience with this problem is very helpful as it is in anything - you might be able to find one in your area - if the first one you call doesnt do this he / she might know who does

nursing homes are terrible places to live and its very hard to fire the civil service let alone prove they did something , if i was you i would try to get a news agency to investigate because your claims aren't going to go anywhere
