This guy is driving home to visit his family, but is killed in a car crash along the way. After he dies he wakes up and he is a completely different person, in another country. The rest of the movie he tries to find out why that when he dies he wakes up as another person (yes he is going to die and come back several times in the process).
Give me feedback, does this sound like a good idea, and how would you want it to end: open for a sequel or a definate answer.

It kind sounds a bit like the Full Metal Alchemist movie, except he figures out quick why he died and woke up someone/somewhere else.

This sounds like a good movie. In the movie, while he tries to find out why everything is happening to him, I think you should have the reason be because he never did anything good; he just sulked and complained about everything bad happening in his life. And during all those times he gets resurrected (or whatever) there could be scenes where he learns the meaning of life and happiness. And at the end, he goes back to his normal life to discover that it was all a dream and he starts living life tot he fullest.
