Just not jersey city..its true every where..Its the parents responsiblity. It is by law that they go to school..if the child does not..its the parents responsiblity to call the cops on the child.

I am not real for sure about Jersey city but I am from Illinois and if our childern do not go to school the parents can go to jail because of it. The laws here are really strick when it comes to children going to school.

I don't know about Jersey City, but here in Illinois that is a law. It's a new truancy prevention act. Scary for the parents, huh?

There is one tough jv family court judge in Jersey City. If you get her (I won't say her name) you better wear a long dress, and no make up. She will put you away.
