Is it wrong to want to desire to have a mate being a young christian? And if we wait on one then are we waiting for our financail status to be better? is it about the money?
What if a person was a millionaire then would they still have to wait?

I know from experience that God can give you the perfect mate that will match your personality, strengths, weaknesses, etc. It requires prayer, faith, and patience. He will take as long as He needs to prepare you, as well as the one He has chosen for you, and when the time is right He will cause you two to meet. I defied God twice and married someone who He had not chosen for me. After two divorces and then finally submitting to His good and perfect will He gave me a husband that is perfect for me. Just be patient, have faith, and it will happen when the timing is right.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to find a mate. Actually before you were formed in your mother's womb this is ordained by God. Pray about it ask God to keep the counterfeits away from you and send someone that will compliment you. He gives us the desires of our heart. Just let his perfect will be done. Money should never be the first reason for getting married.

Not wrong at all as this is a universal human desire. I'm not understanding the financial thing though...love has no price :-)

Dating is the way to find people that you want to spend time with. When you start dating you are trying to find the qualities in people that you like and dislike till you find the one that you want to be with and can put up withs ups and downs.
