me and my husband wants to have a baby, but he want to wait until next year. this is what I did, I took the comdon that my husband used and put it in side me. I was two days from ovlation can I conceive this way. I know what I did, but will it work?

Depends on how soon you did this. The sperm really cannot live very long outside of the body. The sperm can live for up to five days in fertile cervical mucus, so it's not impossible. I'd say the chances are slim simply because when a man ejaculates in you the semen is deposited close to the cervix. But just putting in like you did wouldn't get it very close. It is still possible though.

Can you conceive WHAT way? By putting a condom inside you? Or by emptying the contents of the condom inside you? If you are talking about the latter of the two, you CAN get pregnant that way, but chances of that happening are slim. Sperm has a life of about 20min or so (give or take) so it must be done immediately after ejaculation. Also, if you are trying to in vitro fertilize yourself at home, after your husband ejaculates, take a turkey baster or clean empty syringe, extract the contents of the condom, and empty them at the base of your cervix. You'll have a greater chance of getting pregnant that way. You'll also have a very pissed off husband, and a lot of explaining to do. Good luck!

Yes you can. If you did it soon enough and the little ones were still alive. Why would you do that to your hubby?? You totally took advantage of his trust. What happens if he says "nope, I used condoms. It isn't mine. She cheated??" How are you gonna explain that one? Please don't ruin your relationship by doing things like that. It wont happen until it is supposed to anyway. But yes it could possible work. You will just have to wait and take a test if you are late. Good luck

I don't know if it will work or not, you probably have a good chance, I hope if you are for your sake and your baby's that your husband doesn't find out that you tricked him or you might raise this baby alone, if it doesn't work you need to think of this before you try again without talking to him.

We're not here to 'judge' anyone. For one, Let god do his work. If he feels you should be blessed with a child, then he'll make it happen. My husband and I tried for almost 10 months before I got pregnant. I was to the point where I was going to see a doctor.. but, then.. once I didnt think about.. I got pregnant.. Good luck to you and don't get pregnant out of trickey. That's just wrong to you and your husband..

did u ever think that theres a reason hes waiting till next year? theres something seriously wrong with what you did. and YES you could be pregnant, but dont be surprised when ur husband leaves you for causing so many problems because if youre willing to do something this ridiculous and lifechanging then theres no telling what else youll do behind his back

Well, it may depend on how long after he ejaculated that you put the semen inside of you--sperm does not live long outside of the body (even if in a condom). It is possible, but I'm not sure how likely it is.

It might work, but you should really consider what you are doing.
I will not judge you, but please consider how much happier and at peace you will feel if you have a baby when you and your husband are both ready.
