I don't know what they are using for this decade, but to be honest, I am very disappointed in what has happened to music. It seems to me that there is not a lot of musicianship in music anymore...it sounds very manufactured and unoriginal.
My favorite decade of music is the 70s, but I am also a big fan of 80s metal.
Gimme Zeppelin, Maiden, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, Queensryche, etc...

Indie Rock has stored the previous spirit alive and an excellent form of of the hot symphonic steel communities mutually with Nightwish and Epica have introduced new issues to the international, different varieties have steel have appeared a number of which i like and a few of which i do in comparison to. Even Adele has placed slightly Soul decrease back into Pop with out obtrusive use of acu-track. that's good to work out a Pop singer that's not greater of a dancer than a singer. i'm no longer likely partial to her form of music yet I appreciate it. regrettably lots of the stuff that gets on the radio and interior the media is business employer cookie-cutter stuff that's greater photograph than substance. they're advertising a picture now days no longer music. of path if that's what the ordinary public needs that's what they gets. woman Gaga has some expertise her music writing isn't undesirable a she is fairly good piano participant yet her reliance on acu-track and wild costumes bury that expertise in a picture. Alice Cooper and Kiss used photograph to get nicely popular yet Alice Cooper and his band have been very reliable musicians that new a thank you to play and sing. Even Kiss ought to wail on their contraptions with the main suitable of them and a few of their songs are enormously damn good. a minimum of while they performed stay - they have been somewhat enjoying stay - no longer a prerecorded stay overall performance so the singer ought to do Dance workouts all evening. good music isn't lifeless. you in basic terms could look harder to discover it.

I love the music TODAY. I'm 17 years old, and I listen to a lot of stuff!
I surf for a living (other than school..) so a lot of people say, "You listen to Bob Marley, huh?" That is true. I listen to a lot of reggae. I listen to ALL sorts of music...so I don't think there is a "music of the decade". It depends on what people want to hear..
