And if you don't want to continue services or buy new subscription you simply need to uninstall the product and there will be no problems.

My only real "beef" about Norton IS its once-a-day updates. Sorry but a once-a-day virus updates can sometimes be not good enough, sad to say.
The "blackhats" are writing new viruses on an hourly basis. Some anti-viruses such as Kaspersky are now issuing 12 to 18 new virus definition updates each and every day in an attempt to keep up!
Still Norton does have much better than average virus detection rates and is mainly hated by those who want everything in life for free!
People claim Norton is hard to uninstall. Hell that is a GOOD point about Norton not a bad one. Modern malware often tries to disable or remove the users anti-virus protection and Norton won't leave without putting up a good fight!
Norton seems to be doing a great job for you, so relax, enjoy the web and ignore the negative comments about NAV (mostly coming from the AVG fan-boy and cheerleader crowd!)
Besides, the best virus protection is what resides between the keyboard and the chair. A little common sense while online goes a long way while online!

in case you have a working laptop or workstation it quite is extremely new and quickly then Norton is positive. the subject is that this is attempting to do issues for you interior the historic past and could gradual your workstation down lots. sometime you could sense like your workstation is hung up even. AVG is adequate yet no longer the terrific in case you do risky issues on your workstation. To uninstall Norton, verify you have administration authority (admin person.) turn off Norton (this is going to whinge and ask while you're constructive?) then use their uninstall selection that they presented. in case you won't be ready to locate the uninstall then get on top of issues panel, go with upload/eliminate utility and eliminate it from there. you will ought to reboot the workstation to end this.

I had problems with it.
The thing about it... HP Notebooks have it preinstalled. When I bought my notebook it was a OK. Nothing was ever wrong to it.
Of course, as in any other notebooks, it has the 60-day free trial. I signed up for that one. It tells me that it can be cancelled after the 60-day free trial.
After the 60-day trial, it gave me a pop-up screen asking if I want to continue. I didn't want to continue the subscription; thus, I declined it.
Then, the problem started. By not continuing the subscription, the program messed up the notebook completely. It disallows access to most of the programs.
Believe me, using it was fine. UNTIL... THE UNSUBSCRIBING.
Look, i didn't want to pay for something that I don't want. So, I shouldn't be forced to subscribed to them. This is how they hook up people into using their program. Plus, it cannot be uninstalled in any way...
I HAVE KNOWN MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE THIS PROBLEM. THE WAY THEY HAD TO FIX THEIR PCS WAS COMPLETELY FORMATTING THEM.
SAD. SAD.

Because most other virus programs will update your computer every week instead of once a month. Also some of the better anti virus programs will update even more often than once a week.
