Who can make the case for his policies without snarling and name calling? They seem few and far between. And the few I've encountered don't seem to be really thinking through their support, they just offer the thoughts and words of others as evidence. The days when it was 'the Left' or 'liberals' who could be lumped together as the only opponents of Bush are long gone. (if it was ever true). Thinking the worst of the man doesn't put you in any political category except having common sense. I love my country, that's why it distresses me so much to see it's leader circling the drain and taking us with him. He should resign or be impeached...

Thx for the fair reply. Do you believe that the policies and actions he's pursued in office have been mostly his, or is he controlled or 'strongly influenced' by others (in or,out of office)

Stop kidding yourself. Polls consistently show a majority of folks disagree with Bush and the job he's doing. The country is pretty evenly split between the 2 parties so there's plenty of republicans in there. The last elections should also be a clue; they could't vote out Bush , so they voted out his supporters on Capitol Hill. Support him all you want, but face reality too.

Reasonable? None. They are simply supporters, poor ignorant people. I agree with you completely. Bush should resign, that is doubtful, that would open himself up to the possibility of facing war crimes in Germany. I think there should have been an impeachment referrendum on the election ballot in November, to keep him from pulling us down the drain with him. It may be too late now. I sure hope that impeachment is included in the Dems' agenda of things to get done in 2007. Better late than never.

Yes we all are, are there any democrats that are willing to agree to disagree. Opinions differ greatly and name calling and insults are not a way to work issues out. I also love my country, that is why I was in the military. But he should not resign or be impeached on the basis that you don't like him. Plus he has done nothing wrong.

I support him in most things but there are some I don't. I think he is a good president and a good man. You said that his supporters use "just offer the thoughts and words of others as evidence." how ever I don't see anything from the left that is substantial to impeach him. If they open hearings I would like to see what evidence they have, and until I see anything proving criminal activity I support him.

Me, only me. As a closeted homosexual christian republican I will tell you the truth. For Our President and Commander in Chief it would just be too embarassing to admit the colossal mistakes he has made - his legacy of failure would emotionally crush him.
The same goes for hardcore Bush supporters, if they had to admit Bush was a colossal failure and mistake, they are forced to admit they made a mistake for supporting him. Many of them have excessively overinflated egos, as does our Commander in Chief, unfortunatley these huge egos are also extremely fragile. Therefore, to avoid crushing emotional defeat, they will always be Bush "bottoms".
Now you know.

Much of what you say has the ring of truth. Too bad the Democratic majority is to politically effete to try to impeach the man.

Its people like you who bore me with your ignorant antics to try any angle to bash our President. The truth is, there are more supporters than you realize, me, being one of them, so get some facts before you come on here calling people out and making a fool of yourself!

Yes, I am a reasonable Bush supporter. Do you have another question for me? President Bush will not resign and will not be impeached. I disagree with your statement above.. but there will always be difference of opinions..
