It doesn't end. Time doesn't end. Calendars don't end.
Everyone who thinks they know what they are talking about is screaming about 12-21-2012 which isn't an "end date" at all. In fact, it's the FIRST day of the 13th Baktun. It's like when our calendar went from 1999 to 2000, people had to freak out. It's the same BS.

The Mayan calendar is a series of beginnings and ends - The end of the thirteenth b'ak'tun is esimated as December 21, 2012.
