The easiest way to change a drive belt on a snowmobile is to push the sheaves on the secondary clutch apart enough to get the belt over the outer sheave. Once you've done that then take it the rest of the way off of the primary clutch. To put the new one on you just need to reverse the procedure. Put the belt on the primary clutch then push the sheaves apart and work the belt onto the secondary clutch.
