I have recently developed a liking for the name Cassidy. My husband thinks it brings up conotations of "bubble gum singers" from the 70s (Namely David Cassidy and Shawn Cassidy) what do you think?

I love this name for a girl! Very pretty and not so popular. When picking a name for your infant, just remember people develop nicknames!

if you like it go with it. there is this boy a my schooland his name is cassidy and people think that it is suppose to be a girls name so i think it would be just fine if u ask me. i would also think about the babys future.would kids call he names or not.

It's a great name.
Tell your husband the day he carries a baby is the day he can name it. You are the mother and you know what is the best name for your child you wont mess it up.....

I love this name but spelled this way: Kassidy
I always said if i had a girl i would name her: Kassidy Evan Rae or Evan Kassidy Rae

I like it, but then again I am not your husband. Your gonna have to find somthing you BOTH agree on. Can not have him not liking his own daughters name.
