goo question, i guess because the name just suits em to a tee! like the boogeyman! You just know he is someone who will scare the pants off ya!

It's from childhood, meant to scare you.Remember the boogeyman's in the closet or under the bed.

I don't know, but that reminds me...when I was little we had a pond in our front yard, and my parents told me that the "old bad daddy" lived in the pond just to keep us out of it.
