And people should not have kids they cannot take care of?

Why do people assume I was born into money just for thinking these things. I so was not, and I WORK for a living just as everyone else should.

Some women have children because of other reasons. Just because someone is on welfare doesn't mean they aren't hard working. Children are expensive, and having more than 2 or 3 can be extremely hard. Some cities are more expensive to live in than others.
My parents are on welfare and both of them work constantly. So don't assume they are lazy and sit on their asses all day, we just need extra help for all of us.

I don't assume that you were born into money. I can see that you are living in the past and don't realize that welfare was reformed ten years ago. I also can see from the tone of your questions and your avatar that you are self centered and have no compassion for the weakest and neediest among us, specifically children and the aged. You probably have no idea what it is like to be hungry or poor. You are not guaranteed of never getting old, forgotten, and needy.

Typical...someone who knows nothing of welfare spouting off an uninformed unenlightened and ignorant oppinion on the subject. No, people with money are actually more charitable than you, and you are obviously low/middle class who fears that anyone would confuse you with the less fortunate so you....as the kids say...dis them. Without welfare most of the middle class would be without jobs...but for the Grace of God go I....

I believe that they stopped getting more money for more kids. They had/have a "welfare to work" program. We had one person come to work with us and didn't last three days before she quit. I had a co-worker who tried to hook me up with his "never worked a day in my life" daughter; I politely told him that I was not interested. Welfare should be used only to get back on one's feet. Welfare should not be a generational way of life. I am sure that the asker was not referring to soldiers.

Are you suggesting that the soldiers that are on foodstamps don't work for a living? try getting shot at for a living and then having to come home to a nation full of people like you.

people shouldn't have kids if they just gonna collect welfare. But, they do get more money for the more kids they have. Meaning more money for their crack addiction

I agree with you. I'm sick and tired of working my butt off to pay taxes that are given away to the laziest people in society who contribute nothing.
