I keep my grand kids here at home with me away from all the armature drunk drivers so they are safe

Stay home and avoid all the drunks on the road, you will be safer that way and actually live to see 2007 instead of being buried in 2007

On New Year's Day -- FINALLY ... I'll be able to SIT DOWN and take it easy ... stay cozy in a warm electric blanket with a good book, and just do NOTHING!

Tough question, because it depends on your age, IMO.
Personally, I think New Years is a bit over-rated.
Think about what you did New Yrs, 2000.
I went out and it sucked. hehe. But it really depends on what makes you happy.
