Yes I agree.
They are a sorry team and a bunch of whiny babies. But they will probably lose to Washington this weekend and get eliminated anyway.

they should create a crossover rule, like in the CFL. no 8-8 team should make the play offs unless all other AFC 9-7 teams are already in.
take NYG out and let either KC or TEN or CIN or whomever else finishes 7th in the AFC with a 9-7 record.
heck, any 9-7 AFC team would probably win the NFC and make the finals! what an embarassment that would be!

Frankly, I don't think the Packers will represent the league much better and those two teams seem to have the best lock on the final spot.
This is what Tagliabue wanted years ago, most fans of most teams still having some hope, faint as it might be, later in the season. This is what happens when you give rewards for mediocrity.

The NFC has definitely been very week this season. It was crazy that even as late as last week the the vikings (the team i root for) still had a chance to make it. Its was the bargaining agreement did to the league, and thats why its amazing when a team can stay consistently good for years on end.

ok lets get it straight, not every member of the Manning family deserves a spot in the playoffs. Peyton Manning obviously belongs there hands down (even though i hate indianapolis), but his little brother doesnt plain and simple although they do have Plaxico Buress who should be traded to a team that matches his caliber.

With strahan gone the giants are done, as they have proven all season long. If they do somehow get into the playoffs it would just show how weak the nfc is.

They'll beat Washington Sunday, because they've beaten them already.
They'll beat Philly in the wildcard game.
They'll beat Chicago in the divisional playoffs.
They'll lost to New Orleans though in the NFC chamionship game.
