Bush stole nothing. The Dem.s always demand a recount when they lose. They demanded the recount in Washington's gubernatorial last year -- as many as five (?) times, until they got enough votes from the dead to swing the election. Even in the November elections. Florida's 13th district lost to a repub. The incumbant -- a dem. is demanding a recount. How many repub.s demanded a recount? Is it just poor sportsmanship or more?"

It's either that or people who are delusional from their hatred of Bush. I've never understood why so many people hate Bush so much. He's fairly middle of the road in his politics. It's not like he's some right wing reactionary or something.

It seems like many on the left are prone to believe conspiracy theories as well, so if you tell them there was some voter fraud conspiracy they just believe without needing any evidence.

There has also been an effort by some liberal political leaders to convince minorities that republicans are trying to suppress their vote. It almost backfired in the last election because many minorities believed it and figured it didn't matter if they voted, because it wouldn't be counted anyway. I saw an interview with democratic strategist Donna Brasile where she said that dems might have shot themselves in the foot with all their accusations and wanted to let blacks know that their votes actually are counted and that the accusations that their votes aren't being counted weren't really true.

Why are we bringing this up!

There is no question that Bush lost the popular vote in the US and Bush won by 1 electoral vote with the intervention of the Republican US Supreme Court and some real hanky-panky going on at the polls in Florida, where his brother is governor!

The then Secretary of State in Florida has a real nice federal job!

If we were truly a Democracy, Bush LOST the election!

Who cares now. It is too late for anything but to make sure it doesn't happen again, and those DieBold machines are no answer, and Florida cleans up their mess!

I guess the faulty machines, and missing votes in Florida(2000 election) and Ohio(?)(2004 election) wasn't enough proof? But whatever, people will think what they will but even that couldn't stop the Democrats from getting Congress back!!!!

They were preparing the same whining game for the most recent election. The news was thick with articles about how the voting machines were faulty. They were preparing the sheep for their protest in case they lost.

The Mexican left used the same tactic following their last elections.

Of course there's no proof because the story is not true. The left is so short-sighted that they just can't believe that they were out voted. That's what they do when they don't get their way; whine and cry, and also report you for spurious violations.

Bush won the election because he deserved to win it. The people voted and the majority won. Suck it up crybabies!

No one of any importance says that.
Everyone knows Gore tried to steal the election by not counting miltary votes.
It didn't work.
